We demand fanatically high standards from our food suppliers. Our partners deliver fresh ingredients to us every morning. We have a special team to monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients on daily basis; we often travel very early in the morning to the shore to find the best and fresh sea food to provide our guests. We never keep our food overnight to sell the following day if these are unused; we dispose of them ethically the same day.
The Steamboat boasts a history of more than 1000 years, this is commonly known as the ‘Hot Pot’ in China. Mongolian Warriors believed to have invented this method when they used their helmets to boil or cook food. Today the hot pot became popular throughout most of China. At Great Wall Restaurants we are really passionate about our own Steamboat; it’s delicious, healthy and fun. You will be served a platter of sliced-thin meat, seafood and vegetables, these will then are loaded individually into the hot cooking broth. The cooking pot is above the table and fuelled by a portable butane gas stove, usually cooking time takes from 5-10 minutes. Try it out at our restaurant!
